Why chose mobile pet grooming?
Mobile pet grooming is a private one-on-one experience for your loved ones. Your pet will no longer have to be groomed in an environment with the potential of exposure to illness, fleas, and the stress of other barking dogs. We also provide cage free environment so they never again have to sit in a kennel for hours. We arrive in our fully equipped Mobile Grooming van and all needed to get started is your pet(s).
How do we schedule?
Please contact use via phone, text, email or Facebook. Our preferred way of communication is via text message. During our first appointment together we will discuss what your preferences for grooming schedule are. Normal schedules range from weekly to every 8 weeks, but we do have special cases in which are every 3-4 months. After deciding what schedule we find best for your pet(s) you will be put on a permanent rotation and will receive reminders via text message. We will also discuss animals health and well being such as if animal is elderly we recommend only grooming when necessary.
Do you use our electricity or water?
No we are completely self sufficient arriving with our own power source and water supply. We only need your pet!!
Is client allowed to come inside van during services?
We are happy to show you the setup of our van on our initial appointments. Once grooming process has begun we prefer to close and lock our doors for safety of animal and groomers. We like to devote all of our time and attention to your pet during their services.
Tell me more about your grooming van?
Our van is a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter with a full state of the art grooming conversion. The van contains a stainless steel tub, grooming table that lowers down close to floor, slide out bridge to help dogs go from tub to table, massaging Super Sudser hydro bathing system, 50 gallon water tanks for our fresh water and grey water, Onan 8000 quiet commercial generator to power entire setup, 2000 watt outback inverter, Suburban Hot water system, Dometic AC system for our hot days and Furnace for cooler days.
What vaccines do you require?
We only require proof of Rabies vaccine. Since your animal is not in contact with other pets the risk is very low for other illnesses. We disinfect after each grooming session.
Do you groom cats?
Yes! We provide full service bathing, grooming (i.e. lion cuts) , nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
Do you express anal glands?
Yes we do express anal glands externally and will inform client if any evidence of infection or blockage is found.
Do you charge extra for matted pets?
We do charge extra for dematting and/or shaving a matted coat. Cost can be anywhere from $20-$50 extra dependent on time needed.
What is your cancellation policy?
Last minute cancellations result in loss income for our business. Cancellations require at least a 24 hour notice, failure to do so will result in a $50 cancellation fee which will be added to your next service. Emergencies do occur and will be judge on a case by case basis.
Do you take credit cards?
We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. Also for our clients who prefer not to be home during service we have online invoicing.
Does client have to be present at all services?
No. After our first appointment together we are very happy to groom the pets on regular schedule without owners home. We prefer to work out a plan at first appointment of how we can gain access to pets for future i.e. gate codes, keys, hide a key, door code, alarm settings, housekeepers.
How long does mobile grooming take?
On average animals take 30 mins-2 hours to groom.
Do you accept animals that need sedated?
Yes, with my veterinary experience I feel very confident grooming pets under sedation or on anti anxiety medications.
Do you accept any breed of dog or cat?
We accept any breed under 80lbs. If the animal is too aggressive or having difficulties with process we will discontinue services and return them to owner.
Will you groom homes with multiple animals?
Yes! We have groomed home that have upward of 13 animals before with no issues. We do not provide a multiple animal discount since we provide same services to all animals.
Do you groom all year?
Yes! We have a fully capable van for hot and cold weather. We will contact and cancel appointments if extreme weather is forecasted.
**Please note that all rates that are given over the phone are an estimate. Services such as dematting, flea treatments, and special handling fee can increase your rate. All of this would be discussed before your appointment begins.
